This C.A.R.E. Program idea came to me and I’d like for you to review it. In a sermon by Bro. Ronnie Peck, my pastor, he mentioned this basic idea. I’d like to see how interested churches are to start such programs or refer to existing programs and make them available to their congregation and community-wide.
Someone would need to be in charge of sending out this survey to many churches and receiving them back. Some people would also need to analyze the information received, then contact the churches again with the results and the next step.
If each church had a list of programs available with names and #’s of organizations providing these programs, they would be prepared to quickly handle the needs of their current and potential congregation.
The E-Mail and FAX information could be used to set up a quick and inexpensive way to broadcast information to many churches. Is there such a list already? Isn’t there a ministers alliance here in Ripley / Lauderdale Co.?
